AiM MyChron5 Features
| The Aim company in Italy has worked for many years making GPS technology useful and reliable in the motorsport environment.
They have now managed to integrate a GPS module inside the MyChron5. The system takes advantage of an internal track database in order to automatically calculate which circuit you're at; it knows how many are the magnetic strips there are so you'll automatically get lap times, predictive lap times and split times without any further setup. GPS data, acquired ten times every second, is recorded with other signals in the internal datalogger to provide in-depth analysis of your performance. |

Rechargable Lithium BatteryNo problems with traditional batteries anymore - the MyChron5 is powered by a dedicated rechargeable and removable lithium battery. It's long-lasting (up to 10 hours duration) and easy to recharge, just place on its magnetic base connected to the power adapter. The usual external power connection is also available for use with the Mychron external power lead. |

Shiftlights and Alarm LED’sFive RGB shift lights can be configured for each gear, choosing LED color and RPM threshold values which will turn them on/off. They also allow RPM monitoring at a glance.Two individual alarms at the top of the unit can be configured for various alerts. All alarms are easy to manage:- choose the condition that generates the alarm, select the LED behavior (blinking frequency and color) when the alarm appears, and set the criteria for its switch-off. |
